“The Porn Trap: Understanding and Healing Problems Caused by Pornography”

This full-day training seminar for mental health professionals examines the nature and attractions of pornography, how porn problems develop, the effect on intimate relationships, when and why people decide to quit using pornography, healing strategies, relapse prevention strategies, couples’ recovery, overcoming specific sexual problems, and developing a more sensually-based, intimate approach to sex.

 

“The Sexual Healing Journey: Identifying and Treating the Sexual Repercussions of Sexual Abuse”

This dynamic and popular day-long training focuses on assessing the sexual impact of abuse, changing negative sexual attitudes and behaviors, addressing intimate partner concerns, relearning touch and sex, healing unwanted fantasies, and overcoming specific sexual problems caused by abuse.

 

“Healthy Sexuality after Abuse and Addiction”

This day-long seminar is primarily for mental health professionals who are working with sex addicts, sexual abuse survivors, and couples with sexuality concerns. A variety of models and techniques for teaching clients about healthy sexuality are presented, including assessment and self-awareness tools, exercises for relearning touch and healing sexual problems, and strategies for counseling couples and addressing sexual fantasy and pornography concerns.
